Editorial Reviews:

As a little girl, Jane has no one. Her mother, the powerful head of a Broadway theater company, has no time for her. She does have one friend-a handsome, comforting, funny man named Michael-but only she can see him.

Years later, Jane is in her thirties and just as alone as ever. Then she meets Michael again-as handsome, smart and perfect as she remembers him to be. But not even Michael knows the reason they've really been reunited.

SUNDAYS AT TIFFANY'S is a love story with an irresistible twist, a novel about the child inside all of us-and the boundary-crossing power of love.

Summary: What was he thinking?
Comment: Better yet, what was his publishing company thinking? This is a poor excuse for a novel by a writer who usually scores big. I have loved Suzanne's Diary for Nicholas and really liked Sam's Letters to Jennifer. Therefore, I expected this novel to meet Patterson's usual standards. It came no where close. The concept was too far flung to work for a novel aimed at adults. It would be better marketed to pre teens! It was childish and impossible. I have read many stories that factor in fantasy or the supernatural, so it's not that I don't like that genre. However, Patterson needs to stick to either murder mystery or romance and leave the fantasy to better equipped authors. Don't waste your time on this novel.

Comment: Wonderful read! Great for summer! I always wonder about the imaginary characters that children sometimes find to chat and be friends. Seems like this one was real. It is a wonderful love story and I highly recommend it. B. Credle

Summary: Quite the let down.....
Comment: I'm a huge James Patterson fan so I may have expected too much. As I read this book I kept thinking is this a children's book?! Don't get me wrong it was refreshing to read a book with no curse words or sex scenes but this story lacked humph! It kept my interest and had a lovely ending but it was almost too sugary. I agree with another reviewer in that the price was too high. The name James Patterson definitely draws a higher price tag but this book just wasn't worth it.

Summary: a bit on the light side
Comment: I thought the imaginary friend concept was at least different. Other reviewers found it inplausible, maybe they have less imagination. It's a light summer read with some tear-jerking moments. Overall, I liked it because the premise was different.

Summary: Waste of a day
Comment: This book took away an afternoon of my life that I will never get back. I usually enjoy books by this author, but this one was too far fetched. Imaginary friends are real and have homes? C'mon! I don't recommend this book at all.
