Customer Rating: Summary: The Only Baby Care Book You Need Comment: This book was recommended by our pediatrician and also by our hospital. It truly is the only baby care book you need. Great format, clean, simple reading that is easy to digest...especially important in those first few weeks as a new parent. It will be the only childcare book still sitting on my bookshelf when we're ready for baby #2.
Customer Rating: Summary: One for the Parenting Library Hall of Fame Comment: I bought this book several years ago while pregnant with my oldest child. Three children later, I am still using this thing religiously! This book has it all from illness symptoms and vaccination information to normal development. As a parenting and child safety expert, this is a book that every parent should own and use frequently!
For parents who are looking for quick safety and medical information to show babysitters, grandparents and nannies, this DVD is a great tool.
Care for Kids: The Essential Guide to Preparing Caregivers
Customer Rating: Summary: A must buy for every parent Comment: This book has proven very helpful to me. It has been my best guide in raising my kids. I benefitted especially from the info on breastfeeding.
I highly recommend this book.
Customer Rating: Summary: Caring for your Baby Comment: Bought this book to have while babysitting my grandchildren as to what should be normal growth and development. So far it has been informative as an reference book for me.
Customer Rating: Summary: Great Resource Comment: I received this book before I had my first child 3 yrs ago. It is very comprehensive and informative especially from birth to 2 yrs. I still look at it everytime my child gets sick or if I want to see if his motor skills, emotional, physical development is on track. I like it so much that I just bought it for my friend when she had her first baby. The only thing I wonder is when a new edition is coming out since this book was published in 2004.
