Comment: Bought this item for a xmas gift, so actually have not opened it, but have seen movie in the past and it was terrific, (it is really my husbands favorite movie and that is who I bought it for).

Comment: this blue ray is not what you would expect of a HD imahe because its 480 image and not 1081 image - this is a pity for a great film.

Comment: LA Confidential is a great movie. The performances by all of the characters are superb and the movie looks beautiful in HD. Not too many special effects to warrant bluray but I own it because its still worth it.

Comment: One of my favorite films and it looks great in HD. All the features of the original DVD are included. The movie itself just gets better every time I see it and I catch details I missed on previous viewings. The way this film creates the atmosphere of the 1950s is amazing and what a terrific cast. It easily could have won the Best Picture Oscar. I highly recommend it.
