Comment: This is the book i read when I have to go to my "happy place". If you're into silly, outrageous humor, this book is for you. I love this book, and I love Chuck Norris. How awesome is it that something like these jokes has hit the mainstream!!! I recommended it--2 thumbs and a roundhouse kick up!

Comment: Chuck Norris facts have become a part of American culture and have an especially large following among high school and college students. Chuck Norris facts began as jokes tossed back and forth between people. However, the popularity of Chuck Norris facts skyrocketed when Ian Spector's fact generating website became THE site for Chuck Norris Facts. THE TRUTH ABOUT CHUCK NORRIS is a collection of some of the most popular facts from chucknorrisfacts.com. The book also includes a preface from creator Ian Spector about how the website began, his interactions with the real Chuck Norris, the lawsuit that was filed as a result of the books publication, etc.
Some of my favorite facts from the book include the following:
"Chuck Norris once shot a German plane down with his finger by pointing at it and yelling BANG!"
"Chuck Norris's poop is used as currency in Argentina."
"Rainbows are what happens when Chuck Norris roundhouse kicks Richard Simmons."
"Freddy Krueger has nightmares about Chuck Norris."

There are some more vulgar, blue-colored facts in the book as well, so readers should be forewarned. But most people who are interested in the book probably don't care about that. A great gift for fans of Chuck Norris, Conan O'Brien, and anyone who has a good sense of humor.

Summary: Good but has many recycled Bill Braskyisms
Comment: I caught onto the whole Chuck Norris Fact bandwagon a little bit late...or so I thought. It wasn't until this all started that I realized many of these facts were rehashed from the classic recurring Saturday Night Live skit "Bill Brasky". I like Chuck Norris but the facts in this book can never hold a candle to the facts of Bill Brasky.
