Summary: Terribly Awful Action Camp...In A Good Way?
Comment: This early 80's creation of an international elite fighting unit with ultra-secret military technology eliminating evil dictators was clearly intended to impress children riled up by the re-introduction of G.I. Joe. However, this movie is terrible. God Awful. Unspeakably poor. However, therein lies its charm. The plot is paper thin, yet impossible to clearly follow. The acting is perhaps some of the worst to ever grace the silver screen. The effects are poor, and if you want the WORST blue screen effects shot EVER (!) be sure to stay to "exciting" finale. Yet, as a small child, the movie was quite fun. And now, with the whole being so ridiculous, I can easily get through the movie from laughter. [The first time I showed it to a friend with a rather discriminating cinematic taste, he nearly passed out from laughter. Think "silent scream" laughing, in the fetal position, on the floor].
Its really simple, do you want a farce to watch with friends to ridicule and have a good time? This IS the movie for you. Are you looking for entertainment while watching a movie alone? Avoid Megaforce at all costs.
A big fat "thumb kiss" to all you Megaforce fans! [once you see it, you'll understand....]

Comment: I remember loving this movie when it came out. Of course, I was only 11 at the time. I remember buying all the toys that came out from the movie.

Summary: this is to cheesy movies as the beatles are to rock and roll
Comment: if you want to laugh constantly at terrible acting and the worst movie in history this is your movie. tre parker and matt stone( the creators of south park) stated in an interview they watch this once a week just to keep things in perspective. Knowing their reputation and what they bring to the table i had to check it out. after watching it about 5 times i still don't know whats going on. there are too many things to name that are beyond ridiculous. you can tell alot of money was dumped into this but it is still horrible in every way. you simply cant believe the people are trying to act and that there could have been more than 2 takes for each scene. quite a bit of team America world police was made in the likes of this movie you will know what i am talking about when you see it.

Summary: Not all cheese flicks are watchable again
Comment: Megaforce was shown on cable tv constantly durring the mid '80s in a vain effort to fill up airtime in the afternoon for kids. While I am sure the people behind the film believed they were making a decent action film for kids, the acting is hyperactive, sappy and bad and would never convince a kid of any age.
Lots of folks love this film just because it IS that bad....and maybe one of the worst every made. Bad as it is, I could never watch it again.

Summary: what's that smell coming from? oh it's this stinker of a movie
Comment: man my boys picked this one out of the 3 for $15 bin at a movie store so i got it,boy did i get it. some action scenes are so dark you can't see what's going on,which is ok because what you can see is stuff that won't keep the 6 to 10 year olds it was aimed at watching it for long. maybe fun in a camp kind of way but i don't think so.
