Editorial Reviews:

Pay-per-view events are the bread and butter of pro wrestling. At nearly three hours, they're like monthly Super Bowls and surrounded with the same type of hype and drama. Fully Loaded captures the entire July 2000 event that went down in Dallas, Texas. Part of enjoying pro wrestling is understanding the soap opera that revolves around each match. If you're already a fan, no background is needed. But if you're just getting into pro wrestling, Fully Loaded does a decent job of summarizing the events leading up to all eight matches. There's also plenty of backstage "acting" and shenanigans to get the crowd fired up--like Chris Benoit destroying WWF champion the Rock's wardrobe or Kurt Angle trashing the Undertaker's motorcycle (never touch a man's threads or his ride!). The action inside the ring is as enjoyable, with a triple main event likely to please all WWF fans. The Last Man Standing match between Triple H and Chris Jericho is sufficiently bloody, while the 30-minute championship match between the Rock and Benoit is exhausting to watch. Not much is different here: hardcore fans will love it, while critics will still be shaking their heads in disbelief. --Dave McCoy

Customer Rating: Summary: A Triple Main Event: Definitely Fully Loaded. Comment: WWF Fully Loaded 2000 was one of the events that I considered to be a lost classic during an incredible era from the WWF. While not every single match on the card was great, each match gave you something interesting.
Six Person Inter gender Tag Team Match: The Hardy Boyz & Lita vs Test, Albert & Trish Stratus. NOW, this is how you get the crowd energized to begin the show with a solid, fast paced opener. The main focus was the beginning of the storyline between Lita & Trish but the match is awesome and gives everyone involved a place of their own.
Tazz vs Al Snow. I agree with the other reviewer when he mentions that this is where the event tends to slow down and lose momentum. We have seen better from these two in ECW as this was more of a slow-paced wrestling match. I do respect both guys for working hard and delivering a few good moves but honestly nobody cared about this match.
European Champion Eddie Guerrero vs Perry Saturn. This match should have been better than it was. I did not like that most of the attention was on Chyna & Terri but maybe rightfully so. This is not a dull match and it is quite watchable but considering how great Guerrero & Saturn are, this one should have been better.
Tag Team Champions Edge & Christian vs The A.P.A. E&C were my favorite tag team in 2000 but this match was the worst one on the card. There is a nice shoot promo in the beginning but the match is very forgettable and the lame ending did not help at all.
Steel Cage Match: Intercontinental Champion Val Venis vs Rikishi. This is where Fully Loaded starts to regain its luster a bit. The overall match is average in cage match comparisons but the ending is incredible and if it does not leave you speechless than I don't know what will. Truly, worth watching.
The Undertaker vs Kurt Angle. This was the first of the three main events and unfortunately it was not given the proper hype that was needed for this one. Taker & Angle would go on to have better and classic matches after this one but this match was still good. A little disappointing considering that I thought it was too short but the overall match is fairly solid.
Last Man Standing Match: Triple H vs Chris Jericho. This was the match that pushed Jericho's career into main event status and also showed that Triple H is one of the best workers in the industry. This match was considered one of the best matches in 2000 and it is still my favorite encounter between these two. Not many weapons were used, other than a couple of chair shots and a nice table spot but the aggression and intensity is kept up through out the match.
WWF Champion The Rock vs Chris Benoit. The stipulation was added that if the Rock was disqualified, then he would lose the title. This is a lost classic and to me, it is the best match on the card. Benoit has never been so aggressive in a match more than this one and more importantly this was one of the Rock's best matches as he was forced to straight up wrestle with the Crippler. Awesome back and forth wrestling with interference from Shane McMahon and a dusty ending involving Commissioner Mick Foley that makes this match worth getting the event for.
Overall, truly one of the best events in the WWF during the 2000-2002 era with the incredible Last Man Standing and classic WWF title matches. Highly recommended.
Customer Rating: Summary: The PPV Name Says It All Comment: Let's cut to the chase: WWF FULLY LOADED 2000 is an overlooked gem, and one that deserved to be on DVD so that more fans could see it. It's not perfect; but sometimes pacing and energy are all you need to forget the missteps. I'm psyched to type about this, so here's what we got:
1) T&A and Trish Stratus v. The Hardy Boyz & Lita
---There are few openers better than this 6-person Tag Team Match. It clocks in at about 15 minutes, and the crowd was at an unbelievable fever pitch. The physicality is stiff, the women don't resort to catfight tactics, and the action just never stops. A textbook definition of how to get a show started! (8.0 / 10)
2) Tazz v. Al Snow
---FULLY LOADED loses a bit of steam, starting with this one. I think fans' expectations were high because both of these guys were ECW veterans. It's really not as bad as some say, because Snow & Tazz are working their butts off to put on a good show. But Snow & Tazz don't make us care as much as we want to. (5.5 / 10)
3) European Title - Eddie Guerrero (champion) v. Perry Saturn
---Considering these guys have worked in Japan, ECW, and WCW...they should've done better than this. When they go fast, moves are botched and it takes us out of it. When they go slow, it's not slow in a good way. Not a terrible match, but very disappointing by Saturn & Guerrero standards. (5.5 / 10)
4) Tag Team Titles - Edge & Christian (champions) v. The Acolytes
---Easily the worst match on the PPV. The Canadian champs always knew how to get a crowd to hate them, but Faarooq & Bradshaw were better characters than they were wrestlers. Frankly, this one doesn't deliver. Don't get me started on the cheap finish, either. But have no fear, the PPV is going to get much better from here. (4.0 / 10)
5) Steel Cage Match for Intercontinental Title - Rikishi v. Val Venis (champion)
---The Samoan Butt Man in a Steel Cage?! You read it right, and the bout is more brutal and entertaining than any review could explain. It's fast-paced and stiff. Venis and Rikishi had a good match at KING OF THE RING, but it's got nothing on this one. To top it off, Rikishi performs a high-risk move that will make you gasp! I don't wanna give it away (though other reviewers have), but you won't believe it. Overall, surprisingly one of the year's better PPV matches. (8.0 / 10)
6) Kurt Angle v. The Undertaker
---FULLY LOADED 2000 advertised a Triple Main Event, which starts here. To be honest, this one's hard to call. On the positive side, the match features some good counters and brawling from the two rivals. However, the downside is that Taker and Angle went on to have masterpieces in the years since. Forget "years since" --- their SURVIVOR SERIES 2000 contest wipes the floor with this one. Plus, the WWF would make Angle a superstar one month, and then embarrass him the next. Talk about a weird character development. This Angle/Taker encounter is pretty solid, but time hasn't been kind to it. (6,5 / 10)
7) Last Man Standing Match - Triple H v. Chris Jericho
---This "WWF BEST OF 2000" entry is arguably the greatest Last Man Standing Match of them all. There's really not much else to say, other than Y2J & HHH were never in better physical shape than they were tonight. Seriously, these guys just beat the crap out of each other, and then some. Anyone who thinks Triple H does nothing but "use his political power" better watch this one to find out why earned it. Weapons, physical wrestling, blood, Stephanie McMahon-Helmsley, Spanish table......it's all here for out sadistic enjoyment! (8.5 / 10)
8) WWF Championship - Chris Benoit v. The Rock
---Let me first admit this: I hated The Rock in the year 2000. When he first became a face, I his matches' quality suffered. He barely had any creative offense or storytelling; might as well have put bright red 'S' on his chest. Now that I got that rant out of the way, this main event is a masterpiece! Rock and Benoit were perfect opponents, and I wish they squared off more. Rock is forced to compete in a technical match, which is a treat for anybody to watch --- he's really entertaining when he throws in some old-school grappling. Benoit was as tough & aggressive a competitor as anybody. I would probably call this his first WWF/WWE classic, even though he'd already entertained me plenty before. Throw in a "Rock-Loses-Title-If-DQ'ed" stipulation, and you've got the only reason needed to buy this videotape. (9.0 / 10)
OVERALL
---WWF FULLY LOADED 2000 never got a DVD release, and it probably never will. Unfortunately, the Benoit murder/suicide jeopardizes the main event from ever being re-released. HHH/Jericho is available on the "THAT DAMN GOOD" DVD, but that's it. Every other match is only on this tape, and if you pass it up, you're missing a awesome Tag opener & Cage match. WWF FULLY LOADED 2000 has some of the year's best matches, and remains the year's best overall PPV.
Customer Rating: Summary: the lms standing match could have been a five star instead of four Comment: hhh vs y2j
don't get me wrong a great match that could have been better y2j could have worked a little harder he was a talented wrestler that really never gave his all on a regular basis is he would have he probably would have been in more mainevnts in 2000 he was as good if not slightly better hhh and not to far away from chris benoit at all you heard me right y2j may have been stale at times but most of the times he could work a crowd in the ring with his ability after this match he was suppose to be mainevent like benoit but was push back down in the midcards it's a shame he was just as talented as eddy guerreo but guerreo got him by a tend but not too back to the match it was good but alot of people give it high four star rating to nearly five star rating match i wouldn't rate it that high somewhere around the lower to mid **** rating i also saw a peep of the hardy boys tag team match against t and a and e and c it looked to be a very entertaining match can't wait to see that match when i have the time and money

Customer Rating: Summary: Fully Loaded 2000 Review Comment: This ppv was better than i expected. I'll write the matches & results with a short review & rating. I have 2 leave soon so I'll make the reviews as quick as possible and give the match a fair rating.
Hardy Boyz & Lita vs. Test, Albert and Trish
This match was a lot better than I expected! The crowd was hot for the rest of the pay per view after this one. Most of the match was exciting. Too bad Trish was no where near as good of a wrestler here as she is today in 2005. Very Good match. Winners: Hardy Boyz & Lita. Match Rating...8
Al Snow vs. Tazz
Now heres a match I expected to be hardcore and exciting. This was the worst out of these two, and it's not Tazz's first appearence of the night. More slow paced and boring. The match was just passible with Tazz getting the win. Winner: Tazz. Match Rating...5
European Championship Eddie Guerrero vs. Perry Saturn
I didn't expect much out of these two, but it was much better than I thought it would be, like the opener. But I was wrong! This proved Saturn is worthy of WWE gold, and should be noticed as a good wrestler. Above average match. Nice to see Saturn win a title. Winner: Perry Saturn. Match Rating...7
WWE Tag Team Championship Edge & Christian vs. Acolytes
Not the most exciting matchup. Better than Tazz vs. Al Snow match, but not as good as th other matches of the pay per view. Edge & Christian walk in as the champions, and walk out as the champions. But they didnt win. Poor ending, Acolytes should be champions after this match. Winners: Acolytes (DQ) Still Tag Team Champions: Edge & Christian. Match Rating...6
Steel Cage Match for the Intercontinental Championship Val Venis vs. Rikishi
This match starts off average, with cage shots and false escaping as usuall in a steel cage match, but it's all worth sitting down to watch because of the ending. Not the result, but what happens. Rikishi climbs the cage, and when Val Venis is still down, and hits a huge SPLASH FROM THE TOP OF THE CAGE! But, thanks to Tazz, Venis picks up the victory. Winner: Val Venis. Match Rating...7
Kurt Angle vs. Undertaker
Average matchup between these two, but not as good as their survivor series matchup for the WWE Championship. Undertaker dominates most of the match, but Kurt still gets in a couple of shots, which doesnt do much to put Taker down. Good to see Angle in a main event match, so early in his career. Winner: The Undertaker. Match Rating...7
Last Man Standing Match Triple H vs. Chris Jericho
I loved this match! It was good paced and brutal. This match boosts Chris Jericho to main event status. One of my favorite Last Man Standing Matches ever, along with Kane vs. Shane at Unforgiven 2003. So far this is the match of the night, but there is still one more main event to come! Winner: Triple H. Match Rating...9
WWE Championship The Rock vs. Chris Benoit
This match was great! I knew a match between these two would be good. I was looking foward to this match since the beginning of the event. Main event worthy matchup big time! In 2005 this would make a huge match, but in 2000 it is not as huge to some people, but to me this made my night better. Benoit gets the victory and title!... What!? Mick Foley restarted it, NO! Rock wins! Insane! I have the use the .5 rating here, Winner: The Rock!? Match Rating...9.5
Overall, Fully Loaded got a rating of 58.5/80, which is equal to 73/100. Fully Loaded was a good pay per view thats worth the time and money. Good 4 star pay per view from 2000.
