Made of sturdy nylon, the nylon balloon whisk lets in plenty of air for fluffier meringues and custards. The whisk is heat resistant up to 400 degrees so you can whisk directly in a sauce pan, and is safe for non-stick cookware. Dishwasher safe. Not recommended for use in microwave.

Spotlight customer reviews:

Customer Rating: Summary: Excellent whisk Comment: As usual, OXo has made an excellent product. I have arthritis and the handle is so kindly. I truly recommend this product.
Customer Rating: Summary: Good basic tool Comment: I needed a non-metal whisk to use on my non-stick pans and purchased this one after reading several reviews. I have used it on several occasions and it get the job done nicely.
Customer Rating: Summary: Buy a Metal Whiks and Better Cookware Comment: I didn't think I could use a metal whisk on my Circulon Pots but Customer Service told me that yes I can.
Good thing, becuase I bought this whisk and it is weak. Metal chisk works much better.
Customer Rating: Summary: Wish I had known Comment: The hole in the handle is great for hanging, the handle is comfortable for my large hands, the whisk is lightweight and it works.
The cons are: it is "top heavy" and falls out of the bowl if I rest it against the sides and the ridges at the bottom of the handle are impossible to clean - I use this mostly for eggs and pancakes and I need a small brush or toothpick to get batter out of the small ridges at the bottom of the handle grip.
I am still using this whisk as I'am very frugal but if I forget and leave it resting in the bowl after I pour the eggs in the pan it ends up on the floor- it is so light weight you don't realize that it is top heavy.
Customer Rating: Summary: Big and Bold Comment: This whisk, and all the Good Grips nylon pieces with which I've worked, is very adequate, but a tad bulky and not as comfortable in the hand as it's metal counterpart. Still, works well in non-stick cookware. I would purchase it again.
