Summary: Henckel Twin Sharp Knife Sharpener Works Great!
Comment: After we received our sharpener, I came home at lunch a few days later and went to cut a tomato. The knife slid through the skin like it was a hot knife going through butter. I asked my husband if he had sharpened the knives and he said yes. He said it was really easy to use. All our knives are good quality Henckels so we were particular as to what sharpener we bought. We had originally looked at the Henckel one slot sharpener until I found this model. We were afraid an electric sharpener would widdle away the steel too much.
We would recommend this product if you are wanting something easy to use that works well.

Comment: I never knew how much I would appreciate this little sharpener until I started using it. It has become an important part of my kitchen routine in just a few short weeks. Quickly puts a nice edge on all those knives I was thinking needed professional sharpening. Comfortable to grasp and nice enough to leave out on the counter for instant access. I'll think I'll buy one for my daughter--it's such a pleasure to have sharp knives.

Comment: We have a full set of Henckles and needed a good sharpener. This is not the greatest. It will provides a good edge but it takes a lot of work and the edge could be better. Almost sorry I got it. :o<

Summary: Pretty Darn Good - but not like "new" edge, but FAST
Comment: Having tried sharpening my Henkle and other knives on what goes for sharpening stones these days (small), the metal in the knives is so hard it can be very tedious and if you are not careful the results are not so hot either. As we don't have a lot of time to spend sharpening, our knives would tend to get dull - which was the reason I bought good knives in the first place.
This thing gives like 90% of perfect edge results in less than a minute on touch up, and only a few minutes on truely dull knives - really works great for those who don't have a lot of time. No, its not the same as a factory edge, but its also reasonably priced and works fast.
Bonus: Well built, attractive, sturdy, great gadget although my wife doesn't let me leave on the counter you could as its attractive in my opinion.
