Comment: I give this movie 5 stars easy. Sam Elliott is a great actor and this is
certainly a movie that shows how good he really is. I watch it over and over. Only one other of his movies can top this one for me and that is The Shadow Riders. Must see movies.

Summary: A cracker-jack traditional Western
Comment: This is a made-for-TV movie so, though there is a one leering, suggestive villain, for the most part this is family friendly. The pace is leisurely which is perfect for a Sam Elliott Western--his drawl is used to good effect. Surprizingly complex (psychologically) plot involves another man's wife and son who wants to hero-worship the Elliott character--ala "Shane."
There are some good lines, good acting, great scenery. There is no reason not to buy and keep this actioner.
