Forget tearing, peeling or sawing with a knife. To neatly and efficiently cut the foil around a wine bottle's neck, simply place a "pincer" around each side, squeeze and rotate a bit.

Comment: My previous foil cutters, both made by ScrewPull, broke after a year. The plastic simply snapped in half.
I have used the Pedrini cutter, however, for nearly two years and it works like a charm (and has not broken!). Highly recommended.
