Summary: Nice idea, but not worth it
Comment: I thought this camera looked like a fun idea worth giving a try. It's definitely not worth it. It came with a roll of film that I used in all kinds of settings to see what the camera is good at: indoor, outdoor, near, far, etc. Not a single frame came out in focus. And one of the four lenses always had a very strong yellow tint to it, so even if the shots had been reasonably in focus, I still would not have wanted to keep any of them. I threw the camera away after one use because it wasn't worth wasting any more film.

Summary: I finally gave it away...
Comment: I purchased this camera along with supersampler at the same time. Both with 4 lens camera, the picture quality on action sampler turned out so poor that I only played with it for one roll of film, then put it back to the box, and finally, gave to my friend(cuz she wanted a toy camera)...well...it does have a fun outlook, but if you really wanna enjoy a 4 lens camera, I would suggest to buy a supersampler, at least the quality is better.

Summary: A great little camera
Comment: This camera is just fun. There are websites that will provide you with some fun ideas with it. We took it outside and tossed it to each other once we pressed the button. We also just walked with it and aimed it at our feet.
The kids who are ages 5 and under when we bought it played with this and didn't break it so it was sturdier than it might seem. It is easy to use and fun.
The only comment I'd make is that it goes fast. Once you push the button you don't have time to blink before it's over.

Summary: Cool - but trade up for the Actionsampler Flash
Comment: I picked up an Actionsampler when it first came out in 2000 or so. As everyone says, and the Amazon review confirms, the shots are lo-fi and junky. It's fun if you're into that look, and it does its job well in bright sunlight.
In my humble opinion, you should spend the extra scheckels and trade up to the Actionsampler Flash. It has better lenses, better exposure, and a fierce 4-step sequential flash. With that, you can "sample the action" at any time, day or night.
