Trap all those bitter oils and sediment in a filter before it can have a negative impact on your pot of coffee. When the brewing is over, simply toss the grounds and filter away.

Customer Rating: Summary: A "green" coffee filter Comment: This unbleached coffee filter for my Chemex works perfectly, and I believe it is far healthier than the bleached filter.
Customer Rating: Summary: Still happy after a year! Comment: I love my Chemex coffee maker...no more bitter coffee. The filters is what makes the coffee maker so fantastic. They're extra thick and made in such a way that the good stuff flows through into a fantastic cup of coffee with none of the nasty, bitter aftertaste. As the title states, I've been using them for a year and I'm still happy!
Customer Rating: Summary: Coffee filters Comment: These filters are for a Chemex coffee maker. I cannot buy them at my local grocery store, so I order them. They do just exactly what they are supposed to do. The weight of the paper is just right to hold the coffee and water and still let the water drain through the grounds.
Customer Rating: Summary: Chemex filters Comment: The Chemex filters were promptly shipped, packaged well, and of course work perfectly with Chemex coffee makers. Very good service overall and competitively priced.
Customer Rating: Summary: Close to A Perfect Cup Comment: Now, I'm not one of them purist who say you gotta do this or you gotta do that, but I recently got back into using my Chemex and durin' my hippy-coffee-snob days, this was my choice. The rounded, white Chemex filters work fine, but these are the better choice. They also give you something to hold onto as you plop the dregs into the garbage or your compost bin.
I'm a home roaster, too. The Chemex with these filters will bring all the beauty and/or ugliness of your beans and the roast straight into your nose and mouth.
Do it right or go to your local coffee shop, 'cause you're an addict who can't make good coffee, so you should have someone else make it for you.
Yeah.
