What's in the Box Polaroid One600 Ultra Instant Camera, wrist strap, one-year limited warranty Should you really "shake it like a Polaroid picture?" Ever since the song "Hey Ya" by Andre 3000 of Outkast came out, everyone is shaking their Polaroid pictures. Shaking or waving a Polaroid picture to help the development process originated in the early days of peel-apart film. After peeling the negative, the image needed to dry before it could be handled, so waving the photo helped it to dry more quickly. When using the integral films (600, Spectra, 500, SX-70/Time-Zero, i-Zone) that are used in our most popular current camera models (Polaroid One, OneStep, JoyCam, etc.), the image develops and dries behind a clear plastic window and never touches the air, so shaking or waving has no effect. In fact, excessive shaking or waving can actually damage the image. Rapid movement during development can cause portions of the film to separate prematurely, or can cause "blobs" in the picture. The best way to ensure a perfectly developed image is to simply lay the picture on a flat surface immediately after it exits the camera.

Customer Rating: Summary: Great camera, but Polaroid is discontinuing instant products Comment: As for how well this camera works, it's great. HOWEVER, Polaroid is discontinuing manufacture and sale of its instant cameras and film. So keep that in mind when you purchase. The price may drop if you really must get one. Also, Target sells them for $40, so I have NO CLUE why they are so expensive here. But anyway, I was about to buy one myself but I think I'll skip it now.
Customer Rating: Summary: Does what no digital camera can do Comment: It'll probably be a matter of time before a digital camera is created that can print its photos as a Polaroid does. But until then, the Polaroid is the only type of camera that can do this. When you see a Polaroid photo, there's no question it's an original. Which is great for insurance claims, etc. That's in addition to the fun factor. Also my teenage kids, with all of their digital gadgets, love the Polaroid for the instant photos. It's a shame that the cameras and film are being discontinued. There's still plenty of us all over the world who love Polaroids. (By the way, Rite-Aid has the One600 on sale at this time for $19.99)
Customer Rating: Summary: Great Camera - BUT SELLER'S PRICE IS RIDICULOUS!!! Comment: This is a great camera. I really like Polaroid Instants and I really like this particular model. HOWEVER, please go to ebay or some other retailer where you can purchase this for roughly $50 to $60 dollars. I'm not even sure what the justification for this type of price gouging could be. Yes, polaroid is phasing out the instant camera and it's film, so....if I buy this camera for $200 then what after the film runs out? It's not like the camera is going away forever and everyone will want one of their own. Not many people are going to keep their instant camera once they can't take pictures anymore. Maybe this seller has $500 film to go along with this bargain, hmmm?
Customer Rating: Summary: $39.99 At Target Comment: This is a great little camera but the price here is INSANE. It's only $39.99 at Target.
Customer Rating: Summary: Great Seller Comment: Perfect Product. Even better was my experience with the seller. After having tried to purchase this item from someone else and having a horrible experience; this seller took excellent care of me. Would buy from them again without doubt
