Comment: Parabens are a preservative that are used in a WIDE variety of cosmetics, lotions, powders, mineral veil etc. Identified as methylparaben, ethylparaben, propylparaben, butylparaben etc.& can be found near the bottom of your ingredient labels. Levels of Parabens have been found in breast tumor biopsy samples. Infact 20 out of 20 samples showed paraben levels. They are also known to mimick an estrogen like effect in your body which plays havick on your endocrine levels which regulate your hormones & thyroid. FDA is now funding testing to see if there is infact a link between parabens & cancer. It has made a noticeable difference in the appearance of fine lines as well as deeper wrinkles that have developed over my 65+ yr. lifetime. It only takes a tiny bit, though. If you accidentally use too much, just wait about 20 minutes and wipe off the excess with a tissue. My husband is using it instead of his usual aloe and likes it, also. My skin looks and feels really soft, radiant and glowing. Just amazing! No red bumps or marks like some moisturizers.

However, after two weeks of use I broke out with the worst acne I had ever had. So please, only use this is you aren't prone to acne. Before trying it, I couldn't seem to find a lotion that stayed with me the whole day, yet didn't feel too oily. This is best for me during the dry winter months when my skin is at it's driest. In the summer I'm ok with the normal skin Hope in a Jar. I also love it's fresh, clean smell.
