Customer Rating: Summary: Obsessed with Nars<3 Comment: I own 3 of these: orgasm, babe, and chantaco. The thing about these glosses is that every single one of them is really different by texture, smell, etc., so I would probably recommend you go to Sephora and swatch these. The swatches provided don't always match up. Orgasm is pretty sticky and the taste to me is like sunflower seed shells? It's a lovely pink with gold shimmer (really hot!), and since it's so sticky, it wears pretty well so you don't have to keep reapplying. Really, though, the first time I ever wore this, I fell in love. I don't wear it so much anymore because it's getting warmer and I'm into deep berries and corals, but I still love it. Babe looked ridiculous in the tube- bright red. When I opened my package, I was seriously worried because it looked soooo red and I hate super red glosses/ lipsticks, but it's one of my absolute favorites for summer. It's stickier than orgasm, but I wear it with a lip balm or sheer lip gloss and just a little tiny bit of babe, but it gives me a beautiful warm glow. You really don't need very much, but I think you most likely need to wear it with something else. These glosses are really sticky, but they wear long. Chantaco is the one I'm most afraid of. I still have not tamed this one, yet. It's like a purplish pink maybe? It's super pigmented and I'm going to have to wear it with another lip balm, but I'm saving it for next winter. It really is a lovely color, though. Chantaco is not as sticky as the other ones. I wish I had more money so I could try more! They're super-pigmented and last a while. I think they're definitely worth the money, just make sure you know what you're getting.
Customer Rating: Summary: good stuff Comment: I purchased this gloss in Orgasm recently at Sephora. I like the natural pink shade with flecks of gold glimmer, but it had a very thick texture and was kind of sticky and gluey. The gloss is otherwise gorgeous!
Customer Rating: Summary: No stickiness here! Comment: Great consistency; it doesn't get sticky after application and has a really nice creamy quality to it. It provides a subtle shine, but isn't as punchy as I'd like it to be. I prefer something that nourishes the lips more, as well. I think I'd like to try it in "Turkish Delight" (my first was "Sweet Dreams"). Good product!
Customer Rating: Summary: Great choice of colours Comment: The most impressive choice of colours,non-sticky texture, not too shiny and no taste at all. It has a good staying power considering it is a lip gloss and a little bit goes a long way. It can be worn alone or over the lip-stick. I have it in Chiuaua (a subtle pink - it works perfectly with Orgasm blusher and Bellissima eye shadow) and in Giza (nectar/apricot - it works well with Luster blusher and Earth Angel eye shadow). A little bit pricey but the array of colours and the quality cannot be easily beaten by other brands.
Customer Rating: Summary: Dense pigmentation gloss that colors like lipstick Comment: Nars makes great lip gloss - evident from all the positive reviews on Amazon. It has a non-sticky texture with dense pigmentation, so you can go easy and end up with a stain, or do a couple of layers and have a beautifully laquered look. Shade-wise: Talitha is a beautiful night-out shade in a rich berry pink that borders on wine, which is super popular this Fall/Winter. Orgasm, however, is over-rated. It can be too orange creamsicle-ish, especially on light ivory skin like mine.
