Summary: Started gr8 but quickly turned rancid and reeked of rotten roses!
Comment: This started as the best lip balm ever! I couldn't believe it. But after about a week and a half, product turned rancid and smelled so terrible (putrid) I had to wash it out. I never kept it in my pocket, always on a counter-top in an air-conditioned room at all times. I am so disappointed as this was the best I'd tried but it's like it took almost 2 weeks for the rose fragrance to take over and overpower it. It smelled a mixture of roses gone bad and nauseous synthetic vanilla! No idea why. I never mixed it with anything else and I don't wear any fragrance. Product was brand new and fresh when I got it. I don't think it expired, I think it must turn rancid somehow when exposed to oxygen. Just a guess. I want to give it another try if it could only last the way it started out but when I recall the regurgitation inducing smell, I doubt that I'll ever be courageous enough to give it another try! Has anyone else had the same experience?
My quest for the perfect lip balm continues...

Comment: I recently purchased this lip balm and I like the texture and the way it makes your lips feel after you put it on.
I didn't give 5 stars because the smell is not as pleasant as others made it to be. Not a bad smell just wish it had no smell.
Other than that, great so far!!

Summary: the greatest lip balm in the world
Comment: the Weleda Everon Lip balm is the best lip balm i have ever used, it keeps my lips smooth and moist, it has a pleasent feel and not tacky or waxy, i no longer have to buy any other brand of lip balm because i have found the best! although its more expensive than other chapsticks its worth it because it works! i did have a relapse and bought a another brand of chapstick out of habit of trying new things...after one use i threw it away and picked up the weleda...

Summary: Great Lip Treatment
Comment: This is my #1 choice for keeping dry lips soft & smooth.
I use this lip balm regularly, and I have no problems whatsoever with dryness or peeling skin (gross!) on my lips.
Plus, the balm smells nice- kind of a vanilla scent. Long lasting, and goes on smoothly. Come to think of it, this lip balm has never had a "waxy" feel or been too rigid to put on. It stays soft, but doesn't melt in the case either.
If you have tried everything to get soft, smooth lips I would reccommend this item. It is especially good to put on before applying lipstick, to make the color go on more smoothly.
