Bubbly, and yet sharply shrewd, comedian Kathy Griffin reflects on some of her personal experiences in Hollyweird. The stand-up comedian caught audiences' attention when she stole the show in Brooke Shields's TV sitcom SUDDENLY SUSAN. Here Griffin shares gossip on such celebrities as Gwyneth Paltrow, Renée Zellweger, and Sandra Bullock. Her stories revolve around odd, bizarre, or unpleasant encounters with superstars. For example, she reveals the name of the picky celebrity who refused to join her onstage at an awards show, and dishes about what really happened at Brooke Shields's wedding. Then there was the time Kathy found herself partying with Barbara Walters. This spitfire's take on celebrity life is uproarious and, without a doubt, courageous.

Summary: Buy it! Guaranteed laughs!
Comment: Too funny ro describe. Kathy Griffin comes out ready to make you laugh and never lets up. This DVD reminds you just how brilliant and straight forward she is. She is definitely more than D-Lister. Buy this DVD! If nothing else, Kathy's Gwenyth Paltrow impression is dead on and bound to make you laugh for days. WE LOVE KATHY! Absolutely worth your money.

Summary: The Lady is A Tramp.....and I Love Her For It!
Comment: Potty mouth? Yeah. Hollywood trasher? Totally. Pop culture
enthusiast? For sure. And I love every minute of her routine.
This is a great disc not only for the stand up, but for the home
movies Kathy shares with us of her trip to the Middle East. I
had the great pleasure of seeing her live last year, and she
was fantastic. Listening to her on stage was like being among
friends sharing raw, juicy gossip. Kathy shoots straight from
the hip in terms of Hollywood and its insanity, which is why I
love her. Those people need to be taken down a few notches
and Kathy Griffin is the only one willing to expose their reality.
As for coming up with new material, why? If it ain't broke, don't
fix it. A lot of the people who have a problem with her humor
probably have a problem with strong-willed, opinionated women
to begin with. As far as I'm concerned, she can trash Hollywood
'til the cows come home. Stay on the D-list, Kathy! Those of us
who know the Hollywood Emperor is buck naked need you
there to keep making us laugh!

Summary: Kathy Griffin is Amazingly Boring & Bitter
Comment: OK Kathy, would you please come up with some new material already? And, while you are at it, lets try something that is genuinely funny rather than bitterness towards others couched as humor. Lose the bitterness, and Kathy might have some potential but I doubt that will happen as it's gotten progressively worse.
