For the price, and for a disabled woman, this what I needed to carve my meat myself. It is a bit clunky and hard to assemble, but for my condition, (Only my right hand works), I was able to manage alone

Summary: Third time's a Charm
Comment: I bought and returned two electric knives before I finally found the Oster 2803 Electric Knife. I love the way this knife works. The design of the handle makes it easy to use. Even someone with arthritic hands can use it! It is especially helpful to have the power button on the top of the knife allowing me to work it with my thumb. And, to top it all off, it cuts well too :)

Comment: very hard to insert blades, blades seperate and food goes between them which causes a loss of cutting power. this happened on a cucumber. its not worth the effort to return it. in all my years of dealing with amazon this is my first disappointment.

Comment: This was listed to have a longer blade than it actually does. I purchased this knife for my Grandma for her bread slicer and it was too short to reach the other side.

Comment: I BOUGHT 2 OF THESE SETS AS I COULD NOT RESIST THE BARGAIN. A PRESENT FOR ME, AND A PRESENT FOR MY MOTHER-IN-LAW!! WHAT A GREAT IDEA, KNIFE, FORK AND CASE..WOW. MY OLD ELECTRIC KNIFE LIVED IN IT'S OLD TATTERED BOX , TORN, RIPPED AND WRECKED. THIS FAB KNIFE SET COMES WITH A CASE THAT MAKES STORAGE GREAT!!THE BONUS CARVING FORK IS A PLUS AND CERTAINLY MAKES EVERYTHING COMPLETE. SO CARVE ANYTHING WITH THIS, TURKEY, HAMS, ETC..IT IS A GREAT BUY AND A TERRIFIC ITEM.
