Getting your 5 to 9 servings of fruits and vegetables per day has never been easier. Honeyville's Freeze Dried Fruits have no sugar added. In fact our Freeze Dried Fruits are additive free, natural fruit. Honeyville's Freeze Dried Apples are produced in a process where moisture is removed from the product using a very low temperature and a vacuum. Only about 3 percent moisture remains in the product at the time of packaging. The end product weight is reduced by over 90 percent, while the volume stays the same. This remarkable process concentrates the fresh product taste, natural color, and texture of fresh product in it's freeze dried state. When re-hydrated with water the product will maintain the texture and shape of fresh product, with no shrinking or shriveling. Freeze Dried and Dehydrated products are less expensive than wet pack food because you are not paying for all the water. The taste is great, and the nutritional food value is excellent. Freeze drying provides natural and additive free fruits and vegetables to be stored effectively for long periods of time. Remember Honeyville's Freeze Dried and Dehydrated fruits are stable products with a long shelf life without additives or preservatives.

Comment: My can was a little more tart than sweet. Theyre still good. One 1/4 scoop or less of these add enough flavor to oatmeal to enjoy.

Comment: This product is much cheaper than what you buy in the stores and my 1 year old child loves them and can't tell the difference between these and gerber.

Comment: This is the best product ever, my son doesn't eat fruit, but he will he these apples. Much cheaper than the Gerber dried fruit and it even comes by the case!!! My playgroup mom loves them too and all buy the apples as well as the strawberries, peaches and blueberries. My son loves the strawberries too! Great company and Great price! Enjoy!

Summary: Versatile Apples
Comment: I never thought I would use freeze-dried apples until someone gave me a can as a gift. In baking pies, cookies and applesauce, these apples are better than the real thing! So much less prep time, it is unbelieveable. The Honeyville product taste very natural as well.
