Have you just bought a widescreen HDTV compatible TV? There are a few options on how to get any or good HDTV reception. Cable-TV and Satellite might be the best but the monthly rates are over $40 each month. HDTV is also available free over broadcast airwaves. This is an indoor antenna that's designed to capture HDTV from normal VHF and UHF TV tuner frequencies. Provides access to no-cost HD programming Excellent for urban environments where space is at a premium and outdoor antenna installation isn't possible Appealing design with small footprint Anyone can install HDTVa in minutes

Customer Rating: Summary: good antenna Comment: i got this thinking it would not work i and i sometimes get channels in NYC 120 miles and i live in Atlantic city and i get the Philadelphia that is about 50 miles away. it is a good antenna sometimes it does not work duting day. works best at night
Customer Rating: Summary: Overpriced and poor reception Comment: This is a cheap piece of plastic with a few metal vanes stuck in it. It has the same quality as a flea market item, and probably costs a few bucks to make. The price is outrageous.
The design is top-heavy. Coax antenna cable isn't very flexible, which makes it very hard to get the antenna to stand up and stay up. We had to reposition the antenna depending on which channel we wanted to watch, which meant moving the antenna and then fiddling with the cable until it stayed upright. Really annoying.
Of all of the antenna we tried, this one had the worst reception. The best was the Antennas Direct DB2 Multi Directional HDTV Antenna which is ugly for indoors (we moved it outdoors), but did an excellent job pulling in stations.
I have to wonder who is giving Terk products 5 star reviews and suspect that they hire people to write glowing reviews. This is the second Terk product we've bought and certainly the last as both were high priced, of poor quality, didn't do what they claimed they did, and were basically cheap knockoffs of well known company's products.
If you have to have this design, search for the Philips/Zenith model here on Amazon. It is a better version.
Customer Rating: Summary: it works most of the time Comment: It receives signals from most of the local channels with the exception of channel 2. However, it must be pointed to different directions for different channels.
Overall, it saves some money by replacing the dish network service.
Customer Rating: Summary: IerkHDTVa Comment: Excellent product. Works far better than any other I tried. Price paid was less than at any local retail outlet. Prompt, quick delivery.
Customer Rating: Summary: Didn't pick up signals in my area Comment: Product received quickly - however, it wasn't able to pick up signals in my area - Additionally- the design is awkward - and unstable - I had to return the item.
