Summary: Yuck! Motorola Sucks... Period
Comment: In two words "pathetic software". I cannot help but pity the users of this software.
This was my experience. I lost my Motorola V 551, came back home and started this software. Surprise ! No backups found... my regular backups every month surprisingly could NOT be found.
Luckily I did a system-wide search and located the .CDB files... So much for the $30 I spent on this @#$%@##!

Comment: This software worked out fine as I upgraded my phone from a Motorola V551 to a Blackberry. I was able to save most of my pictures and data with the software provided. Instructions were simple to follow.

Summary: Worked Perfectly!
Comment: I received the version 4.0 and was slightly concerned after reading other reviews. However, after following the install instructions, it worked perfectly. I now have copies of my address book and all my photos (poor quality photos, but I have them none the less). When I first purchased the Motorola V551 phone, 3 years ago, the Cingular store wanted over $40 for this cable. It wasn't worth 1/2 that price. I kept putting off buying the cable, until I stumbled upon this one. I got it for $13.08 delivered from A1 Accessories and I couldn't be happier!!

Summary: Cheaper than email
Comment: This product has worked great thus far. I have used it to edit and download songs for ringtones, and I have used it to save/edit/sync my phone book. It has performed perfectly for these. I have not used it for photos or video. I would recommend this product for Cingular Motorola V551 phone. Much less expensive here than Cingular.

Comment: All I wanted to do is move videos from the phone to the PC. I tried to email from the phone. But it said the file was too big. This tool did it with ease. ... Also, I placed my order Thursday night and received it in the mail on Monday... Great service! Thanks.
