Customer Rating: Summary: Perfect for reheating your lunch at work! Comment: I bought these because we have replaced all of our plastic storage containers with glass in order to avoid the toxins that leach out of the plastics when reheating. My husband takes left-overs to work for lunch and needed something for this purpose and these are perfect! Although they only have 2 sections to store food, sometimes he has 3 or 4 food items he doesn't want mixed (like meat, beans, potatoes, corn) so we bought 2 and they both fit in his lunch box easily. You probably won't find another divided dish better than this. They are durable, easy to open and close, no leaks and a great price. Customer Rating: Summary: Great for those that eat many small meals!!! Comment: For those of us that eat many small meals throughout the day this is a *great* product. It borders on being too small--but not quite. I take three to work and they're perfect.
They are heavy because they're glass, but I feel completely comfortable microwaving them, as opposed to plastic, which may leach toxins into your food.

I hoped it would've been a little deeper, more room in the two compartments overall but i've been able to fit in decent sized portions for my husband. The glass is thicker (and heavier) than expected but I guess that's for sturdiness. I feel less of it would've meant more space. Customer Rating: Summary: Does what it's supposed to do. Comment: Yes, the lid is a tight fit, but that results in fresher leftovers. I'm not so sure that this item was designed for taking your lunch with you, because it is understandably heavy, due to the glass container. Overall a solid product that separates diverse leftovers and keeps them fresh prior to microwaving (the vented plastic lid is a nice touch). Customer Rating: Summary: Tight lid Comment: I have only used this item one time since getting it. The lid is extremely tight, and I do not have the strength in my hands to pop it off. I have several other Pyrex products that I use regularly, and even though the lids are also tight, they are not nearly as tight as this item. This item has a different kind of lid than the other products. Also I found the capacity too small to really accommodate my lunch. If you have arthritis, carpal tunnel or lack of strength in your hands, you might want to rethink getting this product.
