Customer Rating: Summary: Counterfeit memory Comment: I bought the Sony 2 GB High Speed Memory Stick PRO Duo from a vendor at Amazon. After having some issues with my new Sony Cybershot camera which was failing to recognize the memory, I contacted Sony. They asked me to send my camera for inspection. Turned out that the memory was defective and they strongly suggested that it could be counterfeit. After I bought new memory at my local electronics store my camera has not had any more problems with the memory. Might have been isolated to the vendor in question, or maybe I just had bad luck on this item. Customer Rating: Summary: Stopped Working! With more than adequate capacity and a very quick load time, they are really the best value.
The 4GB version obviously offers better storage but, currently, the high-speed version of that size is much more expensive and, the standard version is a bit slow to load.
For good storage, a quick load and a low price this is the way to go. Customer Rating: Summary: Great chip!!! Comment: This memory is stick is very fast when it come to transfering files such as pictures and music. I recommend it over Sony's standard 4gb memory stick. I too have the 4gb chip, and the transfer on that is very, very slow.
