Customer Rating: Summary: Good Connections Comment: This is the latest of several cables from Cables to Go that I've bought from Amazon. All of them have worked perfectly. Great cables at a fair price.
Customer Rating: Summary: Does the job, but easily becomes dislodged Comment: This cable gets dislodged very easily. It seems like it just "sits" in the input and doesn't lock in at all.
Customer Rating: Summary: Great Value! Comment: I hung my new Samsung LNT4065F 40" 1080p LCD HDTV and decided to place the DirectTV Satellite box and Xbox 360 about 8 feet to the right of the LCD. I did not want to see any wires, so I needed 2 15 foot (minimum) HDMI cables to fish down from the LCD behind the wall and then over behind the floor board. This was the first time I had to purchase an HDMI cable. After some research and reading other Amazon reviews I decided on this one. I must say that over the years for stereos and other TVs, I've used everything from expensive Monster cables to the cheapies and in many cases I could see and hear the differences. Based on the huge price difference between this cable and some of the other ones out there I was a little skeptical. Therefore, I decided to order only one cable to verify the picture and sound quality. After checking it out, I immediately ordered a second one. Here is how it turned out:
1) Both arrived within a couple days.
2) Picture and sound quality are fantastic.
3) Connectors seem to fit snug, even when there is a fairly sharp bend near the cable-end behind LCD in order for the cable to reach the hole I made in the wall.
4) Cable is pliable and it was easy to fish behind the wall and around a tight corner. Both cables were able to fit nicely in a gap under the bottom of the dry wall and behind the floor board. If you are going to fish your cable behind the dry wall I recommend taping a plastic bag over the end of the connector so that you don't get any dust in there while pulling it up behind the wall.
Bottom line: great product, great value.
Customer Rating: Summary: Good wires Comment: Everyone told me HDMI cables are very expensive. I went out and purchased a 3ft cable for roughly 50 dollars over as year ago. When I decided to move my TV to over my fireplace I knew the 3ft cable wasnt going to work anymore so I shopped around for a longer cable. I was facing prices like 75.00 and some over 100.00... I couldnt belive it. So I searched the internet and found this 15ft cable for much cheaper I read the reviews and decided to take the plunge and get these. When I hooked the cable up I actually noticed a slight improvement from the more expensive cable. Im a very happy camper.
Customer Rating: Summary: Cheaper and just fine Comment: Using an XBox 360 running at 1080i, I can't tell the difference between this cable, and the much more expensive and shorter HDMI cable I was using, before.
