Editorial Reviews:

Hoya PRO1 Digital is a multi-purpose fine-weather filter, which absorbs the ultraviolet rays, which often makes outdoor photographs hazy and indistinct. This multi-purpose, fine-weather filter for color as well as black and white films also serves as a permanent lens protector.

Customer Rating: Summary: High Quality Product Comment: I just attached the filter to my lens and it seems to be working great.
Customer Rating: Summary: Good product for the price Comment: This filter is well made and the price was very good. I have seen no distortion or color issues in the photographs taken so far.
Customer Rating: Summary: Hoya 72mm Pro1 Digital Multi-coated UV filer Comment: I ordered this filter to use on a Nikon 28-200mm zoom lens. It arrived promptly and fit the lens perfectly. UV is not as big a problem in the midwest as in some other areas but it is nice to know that the lens is protected from being scratched as well as protecting from UV rays.
Customer Rating: Summary: Does the job Comment: Nothing much to add - I bought this as protection for my Nikon 10-200mm VR lens. I haven't seen any of the problems mentioned in other reviews; I just cleaned off a small finger smudge and it came up streak-free. No edge flaws either. Looking at Hoya's website, the 'digital' designation seems to mean multicoating + the use of several careful construction techniques. Whatever, it all adds up to a filter which does its job, which is to protect and add nothing to the image I'm trying to capture.
Customer Rating: Summary: Good filter Comment: A very good filter from Hoya to protect your lens. However, I do not see the difference between the digital version than the super coated. anyway, Highly recommended.
