Customer Rating: Summary: Vox150 Comment: Bought at Walmart online for $19.98 dollars. I seen it listed online for $59 at various stores/websites. Purchased to use with my PS3 and cellphone. After charging, I got it working with my Samsung cellphone in no time. Getting is connected to my PS3 console took a little more time. It was recognized immediately in my console setup, but it took a few minutes to figure out how to get it configured for my online gaming portion of Resistance. Works as advertised. Very happy with my purchase based on performance and the price I paid for the unit. Customer Rating: Summary: Not comfortable, poor sound quality Comment: I purchased this headset for use with my phone. No problems pairing the headset with couple of phones and my laptop. But the good things end there. The ear loop starts hurting my ear after 10-15 min and is not flexible to suit/adjust to your ear. Switching from one ear to another is a pain. Also, I heard several complaints of poor sound quality when talking to my friends.
I would stay away from this product next time ! Customer Rating: Summary: Handy little headset Comment: I bought the Philips Vox 150 and a CompUSA USB Bluetooth adapter to replace my old corded headset for the PC.
I used the supplied USB/wall current charger (either one works fine) to charge the built in battery (took about four hours) and then I was in business.
Once I had Bluetooth running on my PC, it didn't take too many tries to get the headset registered (read the manual, even though the password is 0000 you have to actually enter 0000, not just hit return) and running fine.
Sound quality is about what you'd expect from a mono earbud-style speaker, although the mic is so sensitive it often picks up what the speaker is playing if you have the volume up towards the top of the range.
Overall, not a bad little gadget (I paid $30 for mine) with decent sound quality and a pretty good mic. It can be a bit of a pain to turn off though, sometimes taking two or three goes to time it just right.
