Customer Rating: Summary: used to be good.... Comment: have been using these bags about 1.5 year now. I used to like them (you should not be looking at the price.....), but the last 2 boxes I bought changed my mind. It seems that the bags are now made of a different compound and are not able to stretch as before. In other words, they tear very very quickly and I cannot get them fit into my 13 gallon trash bin anymore without tearing them.... very very frustrating, especially @ $0.50 per bag..
Customer Rating: Summary: Not a plastic bag! Comment: I have been using canvas grocery bags for a few years now, and it bothered me to still use standard plastic trash bags. These are great, though they aren't terribly strong. I find that the more recycyling and composting I do, the less trash I have anyway, though. My husband and I end up with about one bag of trash per 2 weeks. By the end of the 2 weeks, these bags are starting to weaken and you want to be careful when taking them out. Otherwise, it's worth it, knowing we're not adding more plastic to the landfills. Every little bit helps.
Customer Rating: Summary: BioBags Comment: I like the BioBags because I can put my wet garbage in the bags in the can next to my sink and when its full, I just pull it out and tie the top together and toss into the yard waste bin. I wish they had a tie with them, buy I just tie the corners together.
Customer Rating: Summary: Very, very thin Comment: During the brief time I used these bags, at least half of the time the bag either tore or leaked. I'm all for "going green", but unless you're very delicate with your garbage, only placing perfectly dry and very soft/flexible/amorphous items in your kitchen garbage can, these just don't hold up to what I would consider typical and reasonable use.
Customer Rating: Summary: Green Yes tough No! Comment: These bags make your carbon footprint smaller but if you expect a strong bag forget it!
