Summary: Great tea maker, nice pitcher, short life.
Comment: The Mr. Coffee line of iced tea makers are decent products and we've now had three different ones in the last 10 years or so, mainly because the pitchers don't last long. They seem to be made of the same composite plastic as the original 2 qt maker/pitchers we first bought.
We didn't pay much for the maker at our local Wal-Mart, but it's the idea that you will have to buy a replacement pitcher in less than a year that gets to me. So once you pay about $20 for the iced tea maker kit, you will have to pay another $10-15 for a replacement pitcher if you can find one locally (plus tax), or online (plus shipping).
I think it's the fact that the hot water over the cold ice tends to make the pitcher get hairline cracks. I always hand wash it and take great care to gently add the ice instead of simply throwing it in.
The handle is much more comfortable than previous versions. I just wish it would last longer, that's all.

Summary: Love the tea maker, hate the pitcher!
Comment: The Mr. Coffee tea maker is wonderful. Makes great tea. The pitcher however will break after only a couple months of use. It is also not dishwasher safe which makes it a pain to clean by hand. If only Mr. Coffee could make one that would last.

Summary: 3 Quart Replacement Iced Tea Pitcher
Comment: Mr Coffee, in their infinite wisdom, has made 2 different size iced tea makers. Then they made 1 size pitcher very difficult to find. Finally I was able to get the shorter one with the wider lip for my iced tea maker and can again use it. Word to the wiser... don't drop your pitcher! Received very fast service and the correct pitcher.

Comment: Fantastic replacement and super fast. I couldn't ask for a better replacement.(Wish the product were designed better, to last longer, but that certainly is a manufacturer situation!)
