Halo 3 is the third game in the Halo Trilogy and the thrilling conclusion to the events begun in Halo: Combat Evolved. Master Chief returns to finish the fight, bringing the epic conflict between the Covenant, the Flood, and the entire human race to a dramatic, pulse-pounding climax. The Covenant occupation of Earth has uncovered a massive and ancient object beneath the African sands - an object whose secrets have yet to be revealed. Earth's forces are battered and beaten. The Master Chief's AI companion Cortana is still trapped in the clutches of the Gravemind - a horrifying Flood intelligence, and a civil war is raging in the heart of the Covenant. It's all been building to this -- a desperate, final war that leads to a soul-shattering climax of epic proportions. Take control of Master Chief to defeat the Covenant and destroy the Flood to prevent the annihilation of the human race.

Customer Rating: Summary: The Best Xbox 360 Game to Date Comment: The most awesome game ever created for the Xbox 360 platform. The story mode is phenominal allowing up to 4 players to experience it together and the online gaming in xbox live takes this game to where no other can match it.
Customer Rating: Summary: Video Game Review for Parents Comment: Video game mom provides reviews specifically for parents. This is not an evaluation of the quality of the game or how fun it is. If you're a parent of a teenager who wants an M rated game for Christmas, here's what you may want to know about this game.
Reviews are based on an evalation of "SLARV" which is an acronym for:
S)exual content
L)anguage
A)dditional Coments
R)acial Insensitivity
V)iolence
Sexual Content: None.
Language: d*mn, h*ll, b*stard
Additional Comments: I'm very suprised this is rated M.
Racial Insensitivity: None.
Violence:
Weapons include various guns, flame throwers, grenades and swords.
Violence is against creatures rather than other humans.
Blood is usually green or purple. Some stays on the ground, some dissipates.
Enemies can be shot (at close range), burned to death, or blown up.
Dead bodies stay on the ground rather than disappear immediately.
Customer Rating: Summary: What Halo 2 should've been Comment: Halo 3 does nothing new, but does it well. Every feature - from the weapon balance, to the multiplayer matchmaking - is solidly built. The visuals, while not truly extraordinary, are still delightful. The sound is great, and the musical score - fantastic.
The problem with Halo 3 though, once you get past the gimmicky bells and whistles, is that it failed to provide much new. By far the most exciting feature in the fame is the Forge map editor. Beyond that, however, the game is just an upgrade to Halo 2.
Still, it's a ton of fun to play, and nicely concludes the Halo storyline. I'd definitely suggest the game to anybody else.
Customer Rating: Summary: A game that has levels of difficulty!!!!!!!!!!!! Comment: I am not very good at video games so I was glad to see that this has an easy level of difficulty which made it fun for me. I wish they would have added "Very Easy" as well but I still had fun.
Customer Rating: Summary: Halo is always fun....atleast multiplayer :) Comment: What can I say Halo is alway's fun and especially it's multiplayer I dont have much too say because everyone that wanted this game has it but if you are on the fence in purchasing it, do not hesitate it is a fun co op game in the story mode and also online is just super fun I actually think it's on par with call of duty 4 and slighty below warhawk on ps3 wich is my favorite online game.
