It creates an odd cooling sensation that I rather enjoy. Its scent is nice, too, although it reminds me a little of cough syrup and I definitely prefer that of the original Lip Venom.
Anyway, as I said, this is a fun product, but I feel it is far too expensive to buy regularly-- it would make a nice treat for yourself if you feel like splurging, but I personally didn't notice much, if any, lip size increase, so it would be best to keep that in mind. Customer Rating: Summary: A pricey indulgance Comment: This is a fun product to try at least once. I like to use 2nd Sin over a brown base lipstick, and it seems to help me achieve a look I would see on TV or in a magazine. I also like that it seems to last a little longer on my lips then the average gloss would.
The downside of the product is that I don't know that it really made my lips any fuller, and the tingly feeling seemed to last on my lips as long as the gloss stayed on. So, personally that was a little to much for me.
If 2nd Sin wasn't so expensive, then I might consider purchasing it again. However, my practical side cannot justify spending $25.00-$27.00, especially when there are other similar products out there for less. I know Sally Hansen has lip plumpers, and a new product called "Lip Inflation Extreme" for about $5-$6, that I want to try next. The first few times there was a redness and a burning but nothing more. I think that when your lips have these products on them it causes you to pucker your pout a little--much like a lemon makes you pucker, giving the appearance of a fuller mouth. Common sense should tell you that nothing you put on the outside of your mouth is going to make it change internally. So whenever you use this product on the outside of your lips, any effect is temporary and an illusion. People just need to know that before getting their hopes up too high. While playing with makeup at my nearby Sephora I happened upon one well known Plumper and NOTHING..barely a tingle! After having freshly lined and coloured my lips I happened upon the DuWop display and a product called "2nd Sin" caught my eye. Little did I know JUST how sinful it was!! After slicking on a generous coating...POW!! My lips started to swell to the likes of Trout Pouters Stella Warren and Angelina! Being a typical Brit, I have NO discernable upper lip and within 5 minutes I had 2 full, pillowy soft, tingly lips to be proud of. Who needs Collagen or Restylane?? Just a shame there was no cute Mel Gibson look-alike to lay a smooch on. Needless to say I went home and scoured Ebay and picked up TWO for the price of one (brand new, no box) and am now a true convert. I won't line or colour my lips without my secret little "2nd Sin" slicked over top. Don't waste your $$ on imitators..this is the real deal. 2nd Sin is TRULY sinful!! Enjoy it in good kissing!
