Customer Rating: Summary: Wonderful Plant Comment: The whole reason for the interest in the fenugreek was for ingredients for cooking curry. However it is an amazing plant. Besides being a great addition to pickling spices and as a salad, the leaves are used to reduce diabetes. The seeds will help mothers produce milk. And if you don't go for herbal remedies, it does make your sweat smell like maple syrup. Hey, better than onions and garlic BO. For more info, I would suggest hitting up Wikipedia.
These seeds were great. Seems like all of them sprouted (I planted alot) and they sprouted fast.
For other interested gardeners, I would suggest looking into stevia, a naturally sweet plant 300 times more than sugar, with no rat poisons (aspartame) or funkified taste (sucralose). Great plant, but buy cuttings and avoid buying seeds. Seeds usually don't produce viable plants.
Happy Gardening!
