I used to use Biolage to combat the damage my city's hard water was doing to my hair, but since I started using Aveda, my hair has been much softer and has 100% more shine. The Color Conserve has been wonderful and my color stays true; I also use the Aveda Smooth Infusion Style-Prep Smoother to fight frizz caused by humidity. The only con to these Aveda products is the price, but the results are worth it. Customer Rating: Summary: Color care Comment: First things first... This shampoo smells absolutely FANTASTIC. It definitely makes my morning shower feel luxurious. That said, I did not feel that this shampoo cleansed my hair or protected my color any better than your average drug store brand. In fact, I actually had to switch out to another shampoo for a while because this one was a little too drying and residue was actually building up on my hair.
