Comment: I am not a speeder but when you travel thru areas with small towns, you can turn a corner and the speed changes suddenly! These are speed traps and police love them for revenue!! fight back with a radar detector.

Comment: The radar detector is very sensitive, going off in places my old Escort never went off. The biggest problem I have is the sound. You can only change the volume in preset increments. The lowest one is still to loud. The next choice below that is no sound. Not a good feature.

Comment: I purchased this for my 18 yr old son. We have found that on the curvy roads, the detector will alert us of HP and Sheriff Radars well in advance of seeing the cursers. On straight roads, it signaled more that a mile away. As far a laser of instant on, I do not know at this time. So far, I am very pleased.
