Customer Rating: Summary: Go for the Bella Band Comment: After purchasing a Bella Band (and loving it), I decided to get a couple more colors. I was instantly attracted to this brand because they have fun prints and colors. I was very disapointed in the product because it doesn't actually hold up your pants if they are unbuttoned (like the bella band) As my pants are a bit tight, I thought that a couple more bands would extend my wardrobe. This product is good if you want to cover maternity panels, or to help give extra length to shirts or maternity pants that are too low- however, if you want to use it to extend your wardrobe by being able to wear pants unbuttoned-- don't waste your money. Customer Rating: Summary: 4 months pregnant & loving the belly bands! Comment: These bands are great to make my regular pants that are getting too small wearable, and also the maternity pants that are still to big wearable. They are really helping me stretch my wardrobe in this akward stage! Customer Rating: Summary: Doubles as a tube top Comment: I'm only 12 weeks along, so not very big yet, but just big enough that my pants are tight. These are very long, so I wear them as a tube top (in place of a cami) under shirts and sweaters. They are great! Also, the fabric is not very breathable and has a slight scratchiness to it. It does cover my belly, but I sweat y butt off in it and am not very comfortable. (I actually prefer this brand over the more-expensive Bella Band because my white Bella Band is kinda see-through, and that is NOT what you want when you're using it to try to hide the fact that your pants are unbuttoned. This one is more opaque than the Bella Band, so that's great.)
I like it a lot. I like how long it is; that gives a lot more options. I wear it folded over in half right now, and will probably unfold it as my bump gets bigger. (Bella Band is not long enough to fold, so you can't wear theirs doubled over.)
My only complaint is that the sizes seem way off. I wore 14's (tight) or 16's (loose) pre-pregnancy. I saw someone else's review about the sizes being off, so I ordered the size 4. It fits just right. I would not want it any snugger.
To someone who complained about it being too warm, well, it is an extra piece of clothing. Kind of like wearing an extra layer of thick snug t-shirt on your belly. And also your pregnancy makes you feel a lot warmer. (I would not want a belly band made out of mesh. I think that would sort of defeat the purpose, since I'm using it to cover my unzipped pants.)
