Summary: Malibu yard light system
Comment: I have had the Malibu landscape ligting system for over 5 years and have had no trouble with it. It gets rained on, snowed on, tree/ground debris dumped on and keeps on working. I have a 600 watt timer transformer operating a front yard zone and back yard zone of lights. Most fixtures are the three tier, 7 watt type with a few 50 watt, flood light types aimed at trees. They go on and off each night reliably. I have added and removed and relocated fixtures with no trouble. They are mostly plastic but have held up remarkably well. They shine light better than the solar lights althought they do require wire and electric.

Comment: I have had terrible luck with my entire Malibu system. These lights are made mostly of plastic, break easily, and are a general pain.
