The Shoe Pouch was designed by Grantwood Technology, LLC to allow runners and walkers to use the Nike+ iPod Sport Kit® or Nike+ SportBand with any type of shoe. When designing the Shoe Pouch, our primary goal was to ensure a snug fit, extensively testing it with reinforced, nylon lace loops, and a Velcro® closure over the insertion slit. These designs maximize the durability of the Shoe Pouch while, most importantly, maintaining the accuracy of the Nike+® system. The Shoe Pouch matches the correct longitudinal alignment of the sensor, completely covers the sensor and attaches through the laces for excellent security. With a small, low profile, secure, neoprene design, the Shoe Pouch is the answer to using the Nike+iPod® with any style of shoe.With over 60,000 sold, we have saved our customers well over a $6,000,000 in purchases of new Nike+® shoes. Customer Rating: Summary: I love this shoe pouch! Comment: I've heard people talk about what a nuisance it is to have a Nike chip for your shoe (if you don't own Nike running shoes, that is). Evidently they weren't using this shoe pouch. I have two pairs of running shoes and one of these pouches on each pair--the chip is easily removed from it's pouch and transferred to another pair; however, while in the pouch it is secure and snug. No danger of falling out. I have told everyone about this product and am buying pouches for my friends and family! With the first one I bought the sensor would not "talk" to the receiver. I returned it.
The second one I got worked for a short while and then the ipod froze.
I returned it.
The third one also froze the ipod(only way to clear it is to let the battery on the ipod run down and then recharge it).I returned it!
Hopefully the new one will be OK!!
