Summary: Very good value
Comment: The unit is large, but that was understood before I purchased it. Paper trays do not handle much. The unit does not weigh much at all. However, the quality and speed for a light duty machine are very good. Print detail using my MAC is excellent. For a student, your parents, or as a backup for the home office, this unit is perfect. As with many printers like this, color ink tanks are small, therefore, set the printer default to b/w, and save the color for when you really need it, especially when printing pages off the web.

Comment: I was excited about this all-in-one based on reviews, but I quickly discovered that its scanner--though entirely decent--had a smaller scanning bed than my 5-year-old stand alone scanner (so much for getting rid of that). The far bigger problem is that it goes through ink carts really fast and will refuse to print if it feels unhappy with its ink levels. I don't know what a better inexpensive Mac-friendly printer is, but I'm pretty sure there's got to be one and I wish I'd found it before I'd voted with my dollar.

Summary: not bad for price
Comment: Printer hooked up easily with my MacBook Pro. Also, works perfectly with my airport which was important. Quality leaves a lot to be desired, but for the price of shipping vs. what we paid for the printer, it wouldn't be economical to return it. The fax works fine although we haven't figured out how to have it NOT answer the phone short of unplugging the phone line. All-in-all a good printer for the low price.

Summary: Great Machine for the price
Comment: This is a fantastic multifunction machine! It prints beautifully, and is not nearly as loud as my last printer. It makes great copies, and scans nicely. I have not yet used the fax, but I am sure it will work well also, as the other aspects of the machine are great. I have had it running for two months and have not had to replace the ink cartridges yet. I have ordered the injectable ink refills, which were not nearly as expensive as the cartridges, so time will tell as to how long the ink lasts. I would highly recommend this to anyone who is looking for an inexpensive small office multifunction product.
