Customer Rating: Summary: Scale works as advertised Comment: This scale is working well and I would recommend it. I have no trouble reading the number which was the problem with the scale I had used for decades. As you might have guessed, I am a senior citizen.
Customer Rating: Summary: bounces around a lot Comment: Maybe I am being picky because the scale reads out in 1/10th's, but it sure seems to bounce around a lot. I don't think it is accurate anymore than to the nearest pound - I am 209 pounds!
Customer Rating: Summary: It varies a little Comment: I measure my weight on this scale by placing it on a flat wooden floor. If I move it a little, the weight reading is different. So, it is not consistent. The variation is close to a pound. The DVD is cool.
Customer Rating: Summary: Excellent Scale Comment: After watching the show several times, I saw this scale in the store and thought it would be a great way to keep track of my weight. It has been a great way to do that, very accurate and it doesn't fluctuate from one minute to the next. ( As long as it is on a flat surface). I would highly recommend to anyone. My only little problem is that it doesn't have a reset button and I can't find out how to reset it.
Customer Rating: Summary: Horrible product!!! Comment: I bought this particuar scale based on the reviews stating that it was consistent and my results were anything but. I bought the scale and put 10 pound weights on it to test its accuracy and it wouldn't register them. I stepped on the scale, received a reading that was far higher than I knew I weighed. I then got on the scale with the 10 pound weights and my weight actually dropped 12 pounds, and the same thing happened three times after. I contacted the manufacturer to make them aware of this malfunction and they said that I needed to allow 15 minutes between each reading and to weight myself at the same time everyday. Well I tried that for 3 days and all three the results were the same as the first day-INCONSISTENT! I usually purchase things based on reviews and never submit one myself but I was so irritated with the product as well as Taylor manufaturer. They didn't even offer to exchange the product, thankfully Amazon took it back.
