Customer Rating: Summary: Pretty but flimsy Comment: This is very pretty but has a few issues. It comes in a million pieces, so be prepared.
It looks very nice but unfortunately we can get some high gusty winds here in Texas and after having this up a day or two in the drive, the wind came along and gusted it up and rammed it into the house next door and our own too and bent the heck out of it! It was very disappointing after spending so much and the metal is all hollow and terribly flimsy.
It was much easier to take down and I dragged it into the garage to fix it as best as we could. Wanted it to make a haunted cave for Halloween and it went alot better with having it inside the garage and stabilized it with cement garden borders laid down upon each corner and began to enclose it and enshroud it in darkness.
We took it apart easily enough and no doubt it will go up easier too the 2nd time and once we got the basic structure together. Kept the corners together and stacked it into the garage.
If we had gotten it on sale, I would have said it was worth it, but so long as you don't have ANY wind at all, then you'd be fine with this outside. Otherwise....I'd find something else or get a permanent gazebo that is alot more sturdy. All in all, it worked for what I wanted it for but only with it in the garage.
Think long and hard what you want it for and how long you want it to last. This is a temporary thing only...
Customer Rating: Summary: Nice Gazebo Comment: I love this gazebo. It came sooner than I had expected it to and I couldn't wait to get it up when it arrived. I don't know what others used for it to come crashing down on them, but I did what another person did, but took it one step further. Instead of putting pots on it to help weigh it down,I bought four patio blocks and put them in the corners to weigh it down. Now I have 8 shelves to put flowers on. It might look a little funny with the blocks down there, but it's holding it down. Also, it is so nice to sit and have dinner outside without having to worry about being someone else's dinner. It's very stylish and worth the money. It's like being in another room that is outside of the house. It is soooooo nice, I have gotten a lot of compliments.
Customer Rating: Summary: So far a 5! Well, almost!! Comment: The gazebo was easy enough to assemble that I was able to do it all myself. Except for one bent panel, buried deep inside the box so it had to have been put there during manufacturing, and the netting that does not quite fit, the gazebo is everything advertised. Both damaged items are being replaced with no problems what-so-ever. It has withstood 50-60 mph winds plus several extremely heavy downpours and came though unscathed. Looks like we will be enjoying it for a long time. Heartily recommend this gazebo to anyone wanting a good looking, quality built product.
Customer Rating: Summary: Not worth it! Comment: I was so happy when we bought this gazebo, it was low priced and elegant. It was easy to put together, but be careful with the winds. Our first gazebo broke from the middle, the canopy on top started to tear and the bars on the center broke.
The four pillar on each side are very loose and easy to break. I was not satisfied with this product a email Sunjoy and they never replaced anything, I had to buy another one, and it still broke.
Customer Rating: Summary: This is a strong Gazebo plus.... Comment: there are 4 shelves in each corner that can hold up to 50lbs each shelve so that's a total of 200 pounds that you can add to weight it down. I have gone through 3 Gazebos and this is one of the best ones by far and looks very elegant too.
