Summary: Great story, fun puzzles
Comment: This game is a combination hidden-object/brain and offers up an engaging story and gorgeous scenery to move it all along. The game's storyline involves a woman searching for her daughter who has been captured by an evil fairy. The characters find themselves trapped in dreams, involved with fairies- imagination runs high in this game, and those who enjoy fairy and dream-related themes will likely enjoy this. To play the game you look through each scene for items you can pick up that allow you to further progress through the scene. For example, if you encounter a door with a lock, you might have to find the pieces to assemble the lock. The items to solve the puzzles can be hidden anywhere- one might be down a well, for example, so to get to it you might have to find the rope, crank, and bucket. Crank rusty? Then you might need to find some oil. Your cursor indicates when you're on top of something that needs attention, and you can use the clues from these to help you know exactly what you need to find. The game doesn't tell you what to do, and a big part of the challenge is figuring it out for yourself. This game is not a long as most other hidden object games, but it's a great deal of fun, and I bought the sequel as soon as it came out.

Summary: Mac users beware!!!
Comment: This game has a known compatibility issue with Mac Leopard that the developers are not disclosing. The game will install, but will crash when you attempt to run it. It's a waste of money, and the developers/publishers have known about it for months, based on complaints I viewed on their website, and they are not responding to those customer complaints. This is a really major rip-off situation. Amazon should pull this title, or revise the specs to include the fact that it only runs on older Mac OSes.

Summary: Dream Chronicles Review
Comment: Well, to begin with the game was fun. Some of the puzzles were a lil to easy, whereas some of the puzzle were challenging. The biggest disappointment I had though was that the game was too short. If there had been more puzzles I would have been more then happy to keep on playing. I can't wait to try out the 2nd Dream Chronicles, cause I'm curious about the rest of the story.

Summary: Not for the sleepy
Comment: This is such a great game! The storyline takes places in a "fairyland-type" atmosphere. You have to figure out puzzles to get to the next scene, and they are challenging to figure out. I would put them in the same class as the puzzles in Azada or MCF Madame Fate. The scenes are beautifully illustrated. I couldn't wait to buy Dream Chronicles 2. This is a game for all ages. Hats off to the producers.

Summary: Simple and enjoyable game for girls...
Comment: and women, with easy puzzles, pretty graphics, romance and no violence. One seeks and finds, and a mystery is solved at the end. Great for a mother and daughter to play together. I would have enjoyed a more mature storyline, even for girls, but for kids, its okay.
