If you smell it from the bottle it's upper notes come across heavy and musky. I wear it, and when I do, men (mostly gay) tell me they love what I am wearing. So if your a guy thinking you can only wear "men's" colognes your mistaken. This scent is heavy enough for a man. You should also try Princess by Vera Wang or Covet by Sarah J. Parker. I'm finding out lately men's colognes are too girly smelling and the women's colognes are heavier. When I put it on it's got a sharp citrus note (I think it's grapefruit) and some unidentified florals. Over the course of its life the citrus disappears and it turns into an overly sweet floral (I think gardenia). This was definitely a perfume that changed over the course of the day, so I'd recommended test-running it for several hours before purchasing.
