The Metro 18" x 10" Double-Sided Cast Aluminum Griddle is the perfect size for cooking for larger groups or several foods at one time. Deep ridges on one side sear food with grill marks while keeping food out of the pan drippings. The flat side is ideal for grilled sandwiches, pancakes and eggs, while the non-stick Cast aluminum construction makes for quick and even heat conduction, not to mention easy clean-up.

Comment: For the price I'd give it a 4, but for the overall usefulness and quality it gets a 2. I bought this for the griddle (not grill) side to use mainly for breakfast. You have to use a good amount of non-stick spray for eggs or pancakes not to stick. On the first use, I was scrapping pancakes off of it. Now, it's a bit better. Overall, not bad for the price, but don't expect a lot.

Comment: I give this 2 stars for many reasons. Let's start out with the good. It's a good size. It's great for using as a warming plate in the oven and serving. So.... now to the bad, everything sticks. even with pam. Once the food is burned on, good luck getting it off. The coating does flake off. I wouldn't recommend anything too harsh and abrasive to clean this. As a serving plate/food warmer, line with foil for easy clean up. This is lightweight. It does touch the burners. mine is scorched. I'm glad i only paid $20 instead of $50, i would have sent it back if that were the case.

Comment: I used this once to make pancackes. Used medium heat & non-stick spray.
The pancakes stuck to the griddle & were a disaster. I scrubbed that thing for 30 minutes & the residue never came off.
Didn't use the grill side.
Do not buy this griddle. I returned mine immediately.
