Comment: This product is excellent. It makes the best roast chicken I have ever had. I have cooked several chickens in the oven using the poultry roaster and they come out extremely moist and tender. The recipe in the manual for barbequed beer chicken is outstanding!!! I am thinking about buying several more. Clean up is a breeze. Way to go Weber!! Excellent product.

Summary: Beer can chicken without the mess
Comment: This is my second purchase of this item--as a gift for my son. Beer can chicken seems too unsanitary to me--do you really want a beer can with all that paint in your chicken? This way you can also use wine and what ever spices or herbs you like, and you are able to collect the gravy from the chicken instead of having it spill all over your grill. Go to the Weber site for slightly different cooking instructions from those included with the product.

Summary: Best beer can chicken roaster, period
Comment: I have used several beer can type chicken roasters and this is by far the best. There is no chance for the chicken to tip over as the chicken fits firmly on the unit and is not top heavy as other roasters are. The chicken slides right up off the support with ease and is a breeze to clean up because of the no-stick suface of the roaster. I liked it so well I purchased another! This roaster can also be used in an oven.

Summary: All the taste, plus convenience
Comment: I've had this for four or five years. It imparts all the flavor, and perhaps more, that you get from the original beer can chicken recipes without the hassle of trying to handle a chicken wobbling on a VERY HOT can, and no drip on the coals. Chicken is done in 45 minutes. Use Weber's recipes for a rub, buy one, or create your own. It's the best grill accessory I own. In fact, with this gold box deal, I'm getting a second one.....

Summary: Chicken tastes maaah-velous!
Comment: I bought this poultry roaster for my husband for Father's Day. It works great! We've used it on the charcoal grill and inside in a 375 degree oven. The chicken on the grill is awesome, and I'm still amazed that WE actually cooked it...it tastes like it came from a BBQ restaurant. We put a dry rub inside and out and grill it over coals and soaked hickory chips...yum, yum, YUM! In the oven the skin does not get as crispy and I have to make sure that I put a foil "hat" on the chicken for part of the cooking time so as to prevent some burning on his uppers. Either way has produced a very moist, fall-off-the-bone roasted chicken. Delicious!!
