Customer Rating: Summary: LOSSLESS FANS BEWARE! Comment: Great job, Amazon! It says in your description this supports wma9 which is all it supports of wmas. I bought one (elsewhere) because it claimed to support .wma's and it said so on it's packaging as well. However, it does NOT support WMA LOSSLESS (nor mac lossless, I'm pretty sure), so if you have a huge lossless music collection as do I, you won't be able to use this product. The fact Creative Zen tried (poorly) to defend themselves when I contacted them about this, motivated me to send it back. Otherwise, it's a pretty good player, but that was enough to swear off this brand for me.
Customer Rating: Summary: Zen Interface not Compatible w/ Vista! Comment: This is my second zen that I have purchased. The first went off without a hitch until I got a new laptop w/ windows vista. Creative does not yet make a program to interface with Vista - BAD ON THEM!!
Customer Rating: Summary: Zen MP3 player Comment: Very nice product. Own 3 Zens in our family and are happy with all.
Customer Rating: Summary: Is the voice recorder any good??? Comment: Can anyone tell me is the built in voice recorder is any good? I just started college and would like to record some of my classes. It would need to be able to record well from a good distance, like a lecture hall or large classroom. Thanks.
Customer Rating: Summary: Great player and durable as well Comment: Creative Zen 4 GB Portable Media Player (Black)
I use my Zen virtually every day. When I ordered it, I also ordered the hard, clear plastic case. I've dropped the player from a height of about 4 feet to a ceramic tile floor. I was worried that I'd broken it, but there was NO damage. The plastic case saved it, I think. The case is a must-have. Also, I had a Creative Zen adapter/charger that belonged with my older (smaller) Creative Zen player. It works with the new player and recharges quickly.
