Based on the best-selling novel by Candace Bushnell, author of Sex and the City, Lipstick Jungle is the sassy, sexy and inspirational new series about three high-powered women who support each other through the triumphs and tears of big-city life. In every funny and fabulous Season One episode, follow the ups and downs of Wendy (Brooke Shields, Suddenly Susan), a sophisticated movie exec trying to manage a career and a family; Victory (Lindsay Price, 90210), a free-spirited designer dreaming of romance and making it big; and Nico (Kim Raver, 24), an independent and ambitious fashion magazine editor. Armed with strength, style and a wicked sense of humor, these women show that it takes a lot to make it in the Big Apple...especially good friends!

Customer Rating: Summary: Enjoyable Viewing Comment: I liked Lipstick Jungle. I thought when I first heard about it that it will be something along the lines of Sex and the City, but I thought how will they make it different and has its own character? Yet, when I saw it, I realized that it has its own distinct story lines and characters. It is not outrageous, not so over-the-top, yet it is very enjoyable to watch ! It has more realistic characters. I loved it.
Customer Rating: Summary: Short series Comment: Very expensive considering how short the series is. Also, I find it hard to believe that the three main characters would be friends in real life. Nico and Wendy's friendship is believable but Victory is just too immature and irritating to watch at times.
Customer Rating: Summary: Another great show from Candance Bushnell Comment: Lipstick Jungle (based on the book Lipstick Jungle by Candance Bushnell) is the show that we have been missing to fill the void left by Sex and the City. Although not as racy, it is still quite sexy and highly addictive.
Nico Rieally (Kim Raver) is the editor of Bonfire Magazine, Wendy Healy (Brooke Shields) is the head of a movie studio and Victoria Ford (Lindsay Price) is a fashion designer. They are all amongst the top 50 most powerful women.
Nico is perfectly and compellingly portrayed by Kim Raver. Her character is so flawlessly played that she comes across as completely believable and she is able to engage us in her story. Nico is successful editor in a very competitive industry, she most be vigilant and aggressive in the work place to keep her job. But, she is not as successful in her marriage and soon starts an affair with 25 year old Kirby. Wendy tries to manage work and home life and stay at home dad, Shane (who is pretty much perfect). Victoria is a whiny, all over the place fashion designer who is dating a millionaire and trying to keep her business afloat. This character is a bit to flimsy to be taken seriously and her portrayal gives us nothing new. I wouldn't miss her.
Regardless, this is one addictive show. Each episode tests and strengthens the friendship of these 3 women and gives one entertaining show.
Customer Rating: Summary: Cashmere Mafia was so much better!! Comment: I really tried with an open mind to like this show. After 3 episodes I just couldn't take it anymore! The only thing that made me watch 3 episodes was how hot the guy Niko was having an affair with. I just didn't find the characters likable. I felt like Victory was overly obsessive and just plain boring....
Customer Rating: Summary: loved it Comment: i to live in australia, i started watching it when it aired over here but i missed the fourth episode, when i seen it on amazon already for sale i did not hesitate to buy it, i can't wait for season 2
